TERMS OF USE · BETA
Plain-language terms for using the Kompelio beta.
Last updated August 26, 2026. These terms describe the current beta service, user responsibilities, and important limitations.
What Kompelio provides
Kompelio is a compliance organization and guidance tool currently focused on Alberta corporations and core federal obligations. It organizes information you provide, applies the product’s published rule set, and links to official sources where available.
Not professional advice
Kompelio does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, does not file or pay obligations for you, and does not guarantee compliance. You remain responsible for verifying requirements, deadlines, submissions, and payments with the appropriate authority or qualified adviser.
Beta service
Beta features may contain errors, change, or be unavailable. Please report unexpected results, but do not rely on Kompelio as your only record or deadline system. Keep your own source documents and confirmations.
Your account
Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use the service only for an account you are authorized to manage. Do not attempt to access another user’s workspace or interfere with the service.
Acceptable use
Do not use Kompelio to break the law, probe or bypass security controls, send unsolicited messages, introduce harmful code, or overload the service. Access may be limited when reasonably necessary to protect the beta or other users.
Official sources and third-party services
Links to government sources are provided for transparency and do not imply endorsement. Kompelio also depends on third-party infrastructure described in the Privacy Policy; their availability can affect the service.
Questions or account requests
Use the Help and beta feedback page for the configured contact method. Account deletion is not self-service during beta.
